Red round box to hold a key for use in emergencies. Bradtech sell these for housing coach and bus toilet door keys, to meet VOSA requirements. They are also used next to emergency exits in buildings and other locations where a key or small item may need to be housed for use in emergency.
These are nominally 120mm in diameter and stand 35mm from the surface.
They are supplied as three components, the box to fasten to a wall, a transparent plastic disc and a ring to hold the disc in place. Once the ring and disc are assembled, they can only be removed by breaking the lense, which can easily be done with an elbow, gloved fist or tool.
